so mom stumbled upon a new beer 2 weeks ago.  she bought it only because of the label - can you blame her?

she says apologies for the blurries cuz this was her camera phone & she was holding an arm full of booze already.  LUSH!
turns out, this is a pretty good brew!  who knew?  well, actually we could have told you that. if you can't bank on the boxer, then don't bank at all!  woofs to Gray's Brewing in Janesville, WI!

Our little decorator has been up to it again. This time Baxter decided to repaint & work on the web cam!

Portraits for PAWS

so mom took part in a local photography group's shoot at a shelter.  she met lots of "kids" that she wished she could have brought home for us to play with.  unfortunately, you cannot adopt them all!  one dog at a time here at our house!  please support your local shelter & consider a rescue - you might be surprised at who rescues who!

Graduate

i know it's hard to tell because mom's phone is so terrible at taking pics, but this is Baxter as he graduated from his Beginner Obedience class on Sunday! he will be working on his advanced degree this summer - Therapy Dog Certification!

ButterBoo

couldn't help it!  tried not to, but ma couldn't help it! today marks 2 years ago we had to let Butterz go.  ma was gonna post some favorite pics, but there's not enough room on the internets.  so here's just one of literally thousands she has of him.

Big lug!  always the lap puppy!  and he never did quite grow into the beautiful ears did he?

High Cotton

This is Cotton - well, the white bulldog on the island.  So mom was back home in FL the other weekend for Mom's Day.  They went to visit her paw & step-mom.  They live way out in the country and, when it rains a lot, they have a swamp in the back yard that fills in quite a bit.  Sometimes it rains enough that they have an island & that's what you see here.  Turns out the neighbor's dog escaped on a Friday & mom's paw found her stranded on their island on Sunday.  Poor baby.  Mom was just beside herself & made her paw go out & get her.  At the time, they had no idea who this was or who her hoomans were.  They left a note with the neighbor because they knew they had a couple of big white bulldogs & it had to be theirs.  They were right!  The neighbor was out of town & his brother was dog sitting for him when Cotton escaped.  She was such a sweetie mom almost brought her home.  She is very old so we were glad they were able to find her hoomans & get her home!  Oh, and that's our cousin Axel (mom's sister's lab) in the front trying to convince Cotton to get off that island!
